Made it to JFK Airport

We are in JFK airport right now waiting for our flight to Ukraine. We have about 2 hrs to wait until our flight takes off. We are flying on Delta flight 88 to Ukraine.

The kids are getting very restless with all of the waiting, but they are doing pretty well so far.

Please pray for a fast process and safety on the plane and in Ukraine.

Leaving

We will be flying out of Indianapolis IN to New York and then to Kiev. We will fly back the same. We are flying Delta on all flights. Eldo from Golden Rule Travel got some get rates for our flights.

We should arrive in Kiev on July 4th in the morning (their time). We will meet Valentina at the airport. We hope to sleep some of that day to relieve our jet lag. With being 7 hrs ahead, we will be very tired.

I will update this blog as often as we can. Our appt is on July 6th. Please pray for us and the system. We want to get back as soon as we can.

Appointment Date - July 6

I have been so busy that I haven't had time to update our blog recently.

Our appointment date is July 6. I can't believe that it is so close to our submission date acceptance.

We will be making our plane reservations today at the Indianapolis airport. We should fly out on July 3 to arrive on July 4 in Kiev.

We ask for prayers for our travel and for God's wisdom in knowing which children are ours.

Dossier Accepted

Our dossier was accepted on June 15, 2009. We have one document that we need to provide. A document about our home that we live in. The church provides a home for us to live in as part of Bob's compensation package. I need to write an agreement with the church that states that they allow us to live in the parsonage while Bob is pastor at Centerville United Methodist Church.

We are asking for prayers for God's timing in our travel. We hope to find out within three to five weeks when our appointment is with the SDA.

Received Dossier Submission Date

I received an e-mail yesterday from our facilitator in Ukraine. Our dossier has been translated with a submission date of June 15, 2009.

We do have some documents that we need to redo because the dates on not within the six months.

Pray for God's timing with our travel. We will be moving in June to a new church for my husband so he is stressed because of being gone so close to our move. God has a plan and His plan is perfect for our family.
